General

Are there many mosquitos on Bonaire?

Mosquitoes can be found in every tropical climate. On Bonaire, there are frequent trade winds that help keep mosquitoes away. But in or after the rainy season when there is little wind, the mosquitoes can be quite annoying.

That is why all the windows and doors of our rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, which means that we can keep most mosquitoes out. To be sure, each bed also has a mosquito net, so that you can at least enjoy a “mosquito-free” night’s rest.

Can I drink the tap water?

Yes! The tap water of Bonaire is one of the purest and safest sources of water in the world for drinking, so there is no reason to buy bottled water. We encourage all our guests to bring their own reusable water bottles.

Is there public transport on Bonaire?
